Madame LaLaurie’s house
All Hallow's Eve Ball.
Mme LaLaurie: Ah, Governor and Mrs. Roman, you honor our home with your presence.
Governor: May I present my son, Jacques.
Mme LaLaurie: And this is my oldest, Borquita.
Borquita: Charmed.
Mme LaLaurie: My, my, Jacques, what a suave fellow you are. But I wonder if you're brave enough to visit my Chamber of Horrors.
Borquita: Mother, I doubt that Jacques is interested.
Jacques: I might find the courage if the lovely Borquita was by my side.
Mme LaLaurie: I fairly swoon when I see the moment of terror register on a handsome face. Makes me feel young again. (chuckles) This way. (Mme LaLaraurie, Jacques and Broquita leave the ballroom.) Can you guess what's in the bowl? (She has him stick his hand in covered bowls.)
Jacques: Madame LaLaurie, it must have taken you all afternoon to peel these grapes.
(It's eyeballs, plucked from her slaves.)
Mme LaLaurie: Would you care to try your hand at the next surprise? I'll give you a hint.
They're long… and wet… and very slippery.
Jacques: I'd venture to guess a string of sausages?
(Madame LaLaurie chuckles, it’s actually a bowl of intestines. Jacques screams and runs out.)
Mme LaLaurie: Oh, you're not man enough for my Borquita, much less my Chamber of Horrors.
(Borquita talks with her sisters in a bedroom.)
Borquita: I'll never have a husband. Not with Mother around.
Jeanne: She's horrible. To us and the slaves.
Borquita: Who would ever suspect foul play from the grieving daughters of their beloved mother's untimely death?
Pauline: You are wicked, Borquita.
Jeanne: The only question is how.
(doors opens)
Borquita: Mother.
Mme LaLaurie: Y'all gonna miss the entire party if you sit up here chattering like little birds. Come on downstairs now and be festive, my darlings. Dessert is about to be served.
Hallway
Louis LaLaurie: My dear, the guests have been asking after you.
Mme LaLaurie: Send me Bastien and two strong slaves. Don't ponder, Louis. Just do it!
(She has her daughters dragged out of their beds at night and taken to her torture chamber and locked up.)
Torture chamber
(Borquita panting, crying.)
Borquita: No! No!
Mme LaLaurie: In the cage. Break her leg if you must.
Pauline: We were never gonna do anything. It was just silly talk.
Mme LaLaurie: It's because of my love for your plain faces that you can still draw breath.
Be good, little birds, and I'll set you free in a year.
Jeanne: A year?
Mme LaLaurie: Just in time for next Hallows' Eve. (to Borquita) Ooh And you, ringleader of the feebleminded, you've earned a special present. On Christmas morning, I'm gonna stuff your conniving mouth full of shit.
Borquita: (yells) No. No! No! No! No! No! No!
Present day
Miss Robichaux's Academy
(Madame LaLaurie opens the door to her zombie daughters and closes the door.)
Mme LaLaurie: It's too late now even to light the bonfires of protection. All hell has opened up on our doorstep.
Queenie: You guys, did you get a load of what's going on outside?
(Outside the house, more dead approach.)
-[OPENING CREDITS]-
Bar
(Fiona hears Cordelia from the bathroom where someone has just thrown acid in her face. 3x04)
Cordelia: (screams) No. I need my mother!
Fiona: (to customers) Move! (to Cordelia) Let me see your face!
Cordelia: It's burning!
Fiona: (screams) Oh, my God! Someone call an ambulance! My God! Somebody help us! Let me see! I have to see! Let me see it! (She sees and screams.)
In the hospital waiting room
Doctor: Are you Mrs. Foxx's mother?
Fiona: What did they do to her? Her eyes looked like marbles.
Doctor: Our best guess is someone threw sulfuric acid on her. I've only seen burns like this in industrial accidents. It burned through the optic nerves.
Fiona: I'm no… debutante, Doctor. So just tell me. Is she blind or not?
Doctor: The ocular structure's intact, but… we couldn't save her eyesight.
Fiona: You.. What are you saying? What are you telling me?
Doctor: I'm sorry.
Fiona: What are you telling me? Huh? You piece of shit! (She hits the Doctor.) I want to talk to a doctor! No.
Orderly: Should I call the cops?
Doctor: No, it's all right.
(Fiona calms down.)
Miss Robichaux's Academy
Zoe: What are they?
Nan: They're dead. I can't hear them.
Zoe: Everyone get away from the windows. Come on! And kill the lights.
Queenie: Um, I think they know we're home.
Zoe: Close the drapes. We need Fiona. (She takes her phone.)
Luke: You guys, it's a prank. They're not even doing anything.
Zoe: (groans) It's her voice mail. I don't know. Maybe we should call the cops.
Queenie: No, Fiona wouldn't like it, and I'd be more scared of her than those things outside. Oh, shit.
Nan: You shouldn't be out of bed.
Queenie: Tell it to the Army of Darkness.
Luke: This is crazy. I can handle a bunch of neighborhood kids. (He goes outside.)
(In her spell trace, Marie Leveau levitates off the ground.)
Academy’s garden
Luke: Okay, you had your fun. You spooked a houseful of girls. Time to go. Come on, buddy. Hey. (chuckles) Okay. Come on. Get moving. (Zombie just stand there.)
(Gate creaks. Two young men come in.)
Teenager: Dude, your prosthetics look awesome.
(Luke snaps fingers.)
Teenager; Oh, man.
Salon
(Marie Laveau levitates off the ground.)
Marie Laveau: Begin.
(The zombies start attacking.)
Miss Robichaux's Academy
Nan: Luke!
Zoe: Come on.
Nan: We got to help Luke!
Queenie: The front door's no good. We're completely surrounded.
Zoe: If we can't go out, we'll go up. We have to get away from all these windows. Spalding!
(Madame LaLaurie wants to open the door.)
Zoe: Are you crazy?
Mme LaLaurie: My daughters are out there.
Zoe: Your daughters are dead! You want to be dead, too?
Mme LaLaurie: 'Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.
Zoe: Come on. Queenie, do you think you can make it up to the attic? Spalding's room-- We can barricade ourselves inside. Fine. Then pick a room! Okay? Just get upstairs! Go! Now! Nan? Shit!
(Nan goes outside to get Luke and drags him to safety.)
Luke: Aah! Nan! Save yourself. Go.
Nan: I'm not leaving you here. Cordelia's car. Come on!
Luke: What are they? What do they want?
Nan: Us.
In the hospital
(Cordelia's face is badly scarred.)
(She sleeps.) (Quiet mechanical beeping and whooshing.)
(Fiona goes looking for pills and raids the pharmacy.)
(Fiona thinks she sees the hooded figure who scarred Cordelia when a man in a diaper appears.)
Man: (whispering) You didn't throw that acid, but you might as well have. (Fiona gasps)
Woman: (over P.A.) Code blue NICU, bed five. Code blue NICU, bed five. Team to ICU
(Fiona stumbles into a room where a woman is crying.)
Fiona: Stillborn, or did it die after?
Woman: Stillborn. Is it a girl or a boy? They didn't tell me.
Fiona: She's a girl.
Woman: Who are you? What are you doing? (Fiona brings the dead infant to the woman) No! No, I don't want to look at her! (crying) No, I don't want to look at her.
Fiona: Come on, hold her. Oh. Hold her. She's your daughter. You have to keep them close so they feel safe. Now talk to her.
Woman: I don't understand. Why are you doing this? My baby is dead.
Fiona: No. No, no, no, no. Come on, talk to her. Tell her "I love you more than the whole world." Come on. Say it to her.
Woman: I love you more than the whole world.
Fiona: You're the most beautiful baby. Tell her how beautiful she is.
Woman: Please. I can't do this.
Fiona: Tell her how beautiful she is. You're so beautiful. Tell her.
Woman: You're beautiful.
Fiona: Now say, "I'll never leave you."
Woman: I'll… I'll never leave you
Fiona: I'll be your mother until you die. Tell her.
Woman: I'll be your mother until the day you die.
Fiona: Tell her again.
Woman: I'll be your mother until you die.
(Fiona brushes her hand over her and the baby starts breathing. Baby cries quietly.)
Woman: What's happening? She's breathing! She's breathing!
Miss Robichaux's Academy
Garden
(The zombies break into the car where Nan and Luke have taken refuge.)
Luke: No.
(Luke and Nana scream.)
(Zoe gets their attention by banging pots and pans.)
Zoe: Hey! Get away from there! Over here, you rotting pieces of shit! Come on! Come on! That's it. Come on, yeah. Come on, come to mama. Oh, shit! (She goes to hide in a nearby crypt.)
Bedroom
(Mme LaLaurie gets Queenie settled back in bed.)
Mme LaLaurie: You're not fine, and you're my responsibility. You never should have been allowed out of this bed. (to Spalding) You! Butler! See she stays put. I'm going downstairs and get some ice.
Queenie: And get me a Coke!
Kitchen
(Mme LaLaurie grabs a knife when she hears a noise in the kitchen.)
Mme LaLaurie: Who's there? (She sees the zombie.) Borquita! Oh. My daughter! My child. Oh. (She opens the door.) Borquita. What has she done to you? No. What have I done to you? Borquita, there must be something still inside you that that knows the mother who bore you. Come back to me, child. I would make amends. Borquita. You do know me. (Her zombie daughter grabs her around the neck and lifts her off the ground.)
Outside
(The zombies pound on the crypt door where Zoe is hiding. She runs deeper inside.)
Bedroom
Queenie: She should have been back already. Go see what's keeping her? (Spalding leaves. She hears a noise.) Spalding? What is that? Spalding?! (She leaves the room.) Oh, shit. (She sees Spalding and a zombie with a candlestick in the hallway.)
(Queenie tries to voodoo the zombie by hurting herself, but nothing works. Suddenly, LaLaurie fells her with a poker through her back.)
Queenie: Holy shit, you killed it.
Mme LaLaurie: She had a monster for a mother. This last act was the only kindness I ever did for her.
Car
Luke; I think I'm bleeding out.
Nan: I won't let you.
(Nan tries to drag him to the house, but the zombies gain ground.)
Luke: I'm sorry.
(Zoe charges to the aid of an exposed Nan and Luke with a chainsaw.)
Zoe: Get him inside, go!
(She mows her way through them until the chainsaw stops working. One advances on her as she's on the ground and it's about to get her when she raises her hand and casts a spell.)
Zoe: Be in your nature. (The zombie drops.)
Marie Laveau’s place
(Marie Laveau comes crashing to the ground.)
Chantal: Oh Shit.
Marie Laveau: I don't know what that was, but they got some real power in that witch house now.
(Cut to Zoe panting sharply.)
In the hospital
Fiona: Well, look who finally showed up.
Hank: I've been driving all night from Lake Charles. It's a four-hour drive… I don't have to defend myself to you. Why don't you go sleep it off? I'm here now. You can stop pretending you actually care about her.
Fiona: Now, I may not have been the mother she needed me to be, but I can smell the bullshit in your pockets even if she can't. I begged her not to marry you. You're a loser, running around your whole life chasing after penny jobs, huh? You're one step up from the men who stand in front of Home Depot.
Hank: At least I come home to her. I've never just abandoned her.
Fiona: 'Cause you know she is the best you'll ever have. Thank Christ you couldn't knock her up. Can you imagine her with an infant now after you run off because you can't take the pressures of a blind wife?
Hank: Permanently?
Fiona: Oh, boy, here come the crocodile tears.
Hank: No, Fiona, no, you will not do this to us. She hates you. You hear that, you piece of shit? I love her and she knows it. You are the one that doesn't belong here. You are the one that needs to go away!
Nurse: (comes in) I don't care who it is, but one of you is leaving or I'm calling security. (She leaves.)
Fiona: You have 15 minutes with her, and then I'll be back and you will disappear. You can go on your own or my way. I don't care which. Although I'd prefer the latter. (She leaves.)
Hank: I'm here, baby. Can you feel me? I don't care what they did to you. I promise I'm never going away. I love you so much.
(He takes her hand, and Cordelia wakes up and sees him having sex with the other woman in his hotel room.)
Miss Robichaux's Academy
Garden
(They pile the zombie bodies in the back and burn them.)
Fiona: Fire purges and purifies, scatters our enemies to the wind. What blows away need not be explained.
Zoe: Okay, I think that's the last of them.
Nan: This is nasty.
Zoe: Maybe we should get more cedar chips to mask the smell. How's Luke?
Nan: Still asleep in my bed.
Zoe: We have to get him out of the house.
Nan: He's not well enough yet.
Zoe: Well, he can't stay here.
Fiona: He can and he will. No sense rushing him back to his Holy Roller mother till he recovers. She'd only call the cops anyhow.
Nan: Thank you. (She comes in the house.)
Fiona: I like a witch who knows how to fight. You've done this coven a great service, Zoe, I won't forget it. Go on. (Zoe leaves.)
Mme LaLaurie: (comes in the garden)Those are my daughters. The day they were born, I sent such hopes and dreams to heaven. This is how it ends-- in flames and decay. They deserved a better mother than I could ever hope to be.
Fiona: Yes… I know the feeling.
Mme LaLaurie: Perhaps our shared tragedies will… bring us closer together.
Fiona: I doubt it. You are, after all, the maid. (The council returns.) Time to deal with the rest of the trash, I see.
Main room
Pembroke: Fiona Goode, you stand before this council accused of gross neglect, malfeasance, and a willful disregard for the well-being of this coven. Since you arrived here, this house has been under attack from outside forces. A young witch remains missing. The headmistress of this academy-- your own daughter-- lies blinded in a hospital. Given the seriousness of these events and after careful consideration, it is the grim duty of this council to demand your immediate, unconditional abdication as Supreme of this coven.
Quentin: It's nothing personal.
Fiona: And given that the new Supreme has not shown herself yet?
Pembroke: Until such time, the coven shall fall under the stewardship of this council.
Fiona: How convenient. She couldn't inherit the Supremacy, so she has enlisted her lapdogs to help steal it.
Myrtle: I beg your pardon.
Fiona: Oh, yes, you will beg, but you will not be pardoned, Myrtle Snow, not for what you have done.
Quentin: What does she mean?
Myrtle: It's a trick, a gambit. She's desperate. Well, it's not going to work, not this time. This council's decision is unanimous and final. We will not sit here and listen to
Fiona: You will sit! (She forces Myrtle.)
Quentin: Oh.
Fiona: And you will listen. Now, it's true this coven has been under attack but not from outside-- from inside. Our enemy hides in plain sight. (voice over, we see Fiona in the hospital) Walks freely among us unseen. (back to the Academy) Our enemy has a face and I have seen this face. (Fiona sees Myrtle under the black hood in the hospital under woozy flashback.) This face has a name. Myrtle Snow.
Myrtle: Outrageous lies.
Fiona: Did you think that by destroying my daughter, you could destroy me?
Myrtle: How dare you accuse me of attacking Cordelia? I've been more of a mother to that girl than you have ever been.
Fiona: You latched on to my daughter the minute I passed her into your care because you could never have one.
Myrtle: I never had children because I dedicated my life to this coven.
Fiona: The love you had for this coven and my daughter has been eclipsed by the hatred you have of me.
Myrtle: Will you listen to her? Next she'll be accusing me of murdering Madison Montgomery.
Fiona: Well, you were here in New Orleans-- at the time of her disappearance, I mean.
Pembroke: What is she talking about?
Myrtle: I told you, she's trying to confuse you.
Pembroke: You weren't already in town when Madison went missing, were you? Surely you would have told us that.
Fiona: Who is Jennifer Wooley?
(We seen Myrtle leaving a motel.)
Myrtle: (VO) I'm sure I don't know.
Quentin: (VO)Jennifer Wooley is the Veronica Lake character in the movie I Married a Witch.
Fiona: (VO) Jen nifer Wooley also happens to be the witless alias Myrtle used as a resident at the Chat Noir Motel. (We see Fiona and Spaulding tracking down Myrtle under an alias in a hotel and finding pictures of Fiona taped up all over the walls with pentagrams drawn on them.) She has been here all these weeks. Planning this coup.
Myrtle: She's twisting everything!
(Fiona shows the council the photos.)
Pembroke: So, it's true? You've been leaving here under a false name?
Myrtle: She had to be stopped!
Pembroke: Is that a confession?
Myrtle: What? No! I confess to nothing!
Fiona: I don't need a confession. You have been caught red-handed.
Myrtle: You're hurting me!
Fiona: I'll do more than hurt you! I will have justice. The same acid that disfigured my daughter did this. (Fiona pulls off Myrtle's gloves to reveal her acid-burned hands.)
Pembroke: Myrtle Snow have you anything to say in your own defense?
Myrtle: You know what she is. Who would you believe?
Pembroke: You give us no choice. Burn the witch.
Quentin: Seconded.
Fiona: The decision of this council is unanimous and final.
Myrtle: (tearfully) No need to bind me. I shall not resist. Why would I? I've been swimming against the tide my whole life. Look where it got me. I'm used to being an outcast. The freak. Until I found my place in this coven. I thought I'd come home. But I was wrong. I go proudly to the flame. Go ahead. Burn me.
(The coven and the council, dressed all in black, walk out to a quarry with Myrtle, dressed all in white)
Zoe: This is just a joke, right? We're not actually burning her.
Queenie: You don't mess with a Supreme.
(Myrtle is roped to a stake then she is doused in gasoline.)
